Life moments

Just posting because I need to.  I have to share simple special moments that are real treasures.  First off, when we came home from the grocery store the other day Savannah patiently waited until we were done putting up groceries, then she (ever so big girl like) got her plate (that she had just earned with points at the store), and made her own lunch.  Don't get me wrong, she does get her own food a lot of times, but she did it all without a single word or help from us and she filled each divider with diff food groups (of course choc teddy grahms were in one :) ).  I just thought it was a sweet moment to record.  As well..the sweet moment of Sheyenne sleeping peacefully in her crib (thank God she is a wonderful sleeper).  She loves her thumb...just like sis.  And she loves her teddy!!!  She signs for him a lot.  And she has been making sure he comes out of the crib with her every time she wakes lately. 

Today....yesterday...and the days before

Welcome you wonderful rain!  I do thank you for waiting until after our fabulously beautiful weekend to show up.  Though, you have made for a beautifully lazy day as well.  So, where did our gorgeous weathered weekend take us?  Friday S had her friend sleep over, we took them out to dinner and then they made cupcakes, and did their very own makeover ...yikes...they need a lot of help with that ;)  Her friend left Sat morn so we then headed to drive a bit and get lunch (got to eat outside).  First time little S got to play with her sister in the sand area (sorry no pic).  Then we put baby for a nap at home while daddy slept by the pool and S and I played outside with the neighbors for a couple of hours.  Amber came to sit on the babes while we went to dinner and a movie (Sherlock Holmes was very good btw).  Sunday, sad to say, we missed church.  Stayed up too late Sat I guess.  BUT we had an awesome day...honey cleaned while I primped.  Then we went to Chuck E Cheese to play for a while, took a drive, picked up S's friend again, and went to Brazos Bend...boy the alligators were really out, but man the water is super duper duper low :(  Saw lots of deer, and two wonderful friends on our way out.  Picked up fast food and headed home.  I even got a loooong backrub.  How nice! 

Just jumping in here

Ok not that I have time to sit and think of anything profound, much less write my thoughts. I thought, however, (for some reason) that it was a good idea to start a personal blog. Heck, who am I fooling, I don't know if I will keep up with it at all, but I will give it a shot. So, let's just see where this year takes us, and go with it.
To start off I am going to post a picture of my precious A on his (can you believe) 14th birthday ths week!
